Wait Single Vineyard Grenache
Wine
Aphelion Wait Single Vineyard Grenache draws from the Wait family's Top Bush Block, planted in the mid-1940s in the north-east corner of Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale.
The small, intensely flavoured berries are handpicked prior to a slow, cool whole bunch ferment. The wine is pressed to large format neutral French oak where it matures on full lees, racked only when being prepared for bottling.
Deep purple, Aphelion Wait Single Vineyard Grenache is intense, savoury and earthy with prominent tannins and a long finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
